‘eternity’ is a three-track, dreamy listen with elements of synth-pop and electronica at its roots. For the first time since I started recording music back in 2011, I have chosen to write music with vocals at the forefront. In recent years, I’ve become hugely inspired by vocals and the assimilation of all of these influences has ultimately led to the creation of this EP. Though hopefully I’ve still retained my intrinsically ambient and ethereal sound.
For this project, I have been fortunate enough to work with a very talented singer and all-round great guy, Marco Finotti. As the lead vocalist, he understood my vision and has added a depth to these tracks that I couldn’t have reached myself. A special thank you to him for all his efforts. I must also extend my thanks to Angela Klimek (aka Poemme) for lending me her voice as well in the closing track on this EP. Moreover, I have also drafted in the use of my own voice within this EP. It’s been enjoyable writing vocal lines and has made me approach writing these tracks in a new way, and is possibly the biggest leap I’ve taken in recent times with regards to (hopefully) furthering my song writing and production abilities.
For this EP, I decided to create the artwork myself (with exception of the bespoke ‘eternity’ text, which was crafted by Kim Evangelista) so I hope it holds up to its predecessors. I had a very specific vision in mind and, after fumbling around on photoshop, the end result is what you see.
The EP was lovingly mastered by Andrew J. Klimek of Stereoscenic Records and his touch has given these tracks a final lease of life.
This EP is for those who dare to feel more.
